Hi, I'm Shoaib Mughal, founder and Managing Director of Marketix Digital.

I'm an SEO strategist and business owner with more than 20 years of hands-on experience across technical SEO, site architecture, eCommerce SEO, B2B SEO, content strategy, link acquisition, entity authority, AI search visibility, and broader search strategy.

My journey into search marketing didn't begin through traditional marketing pathways.

I studied Mechatronic Engineering, which gave me a strong foundation in systems thinking, computer science, data analysis, and problem solving. That engineering mindset still shapes how I approach search today.

Rather than viewing SEO, paid media, content, authority, and brand as separate disciplines, I've always seen them as interconnected systems that influence business growth.

Before founding Marketix Digital, I built experience working with some of the world's largest technology and enterprise organisations, including Gartner, Oracle, and Connexity. These roles exposed me to tier 1 enterprise sales and marketing systems, large-scale digital ecosystems, commercial strategy, technology adoption, and data-driven decision making, often involving global multimillion-dollar implementations across multiple markets and time zones.

Over the past two decades, I've led hundreds of SEO campaigns across ecommerce, B2B, services, and enterprise businesses. Today, I remain directly involved in SEO strategy, technical analysis, and major campaign decisions at Marketix.

Outside of Marketix, I'm also the founder of Church of Techno and perform internationally under the artist name Shepz.

For more than 16 years, I've built one of Australia's recognised underground electronic music brands, developing audiences, communities, events, media channels, and international industry relationships.

My music career has included international performances, releases on globally recognised record labels, large-scale audience development, and long-term brand building.

Across engineering, enterprise technology, digital marketing, business, and music, I've learned that sustainable growth comes back to many of the same principles: trust, consistency, authority, strategic thinking, and genuine human connection.

Those lessons continue to shape how I approach search and digital growth today.
